NHS hosts Annual Dodgeball Tournament to Support Charity Bash
The annual NHS Charity Bash Dodgeball Tournament will take place December 17 at 7 pm in the school gyms.
Like all Charity Bash events, the goal of the tournament is to raise money for Alexander Leigh Center for Autism, but NHS hopes to get more interest than previous years to make the tournament bigger and better than ever before, according to Katie McGuckin, senior in NHS.
“[The Dodgeball Tournament] is a great event for a ton of LZ students to have fun and play dodgeball– everyone’s favorite PE game– and it’s also a great way to raise money for Charity Bash,” Chris Yun, senior in charge of the Dodgeball Tournament, said.
The general idea of the tournament will be the same as previous years, but there will be a few minor changes, according to Yun. But he is not giving away any surprises.
“If people want to see what’s new,” Yun said. “They’ll have to sign up and play or come and watch.”
