Q:
Why do you love the sport of wrestling?
A:
I like to win. I’m good at it. It’s the only sport that gives you an adrenaline rush and you put yourself above most people.
Q:
What is your favorite moment from this season?
A:
Winning wrestler of the week, which is a team award where the coaches vote based on your performance in practice and meets.
Q:
Hardest part of the sport in your opinion?
A:
Cutting weight. You get extremely dehydrated, so I drink a gallon of water a day. Also, it’s a mentally hard sport.
Q:
How do you get ready before you take the mat?
A:
I try not to get pumped up and go in calm. I get warm, stretch, and clear my head. That’s it.
Q:
What do you have to say to people who don’t like wrestling?
A:
Man up.
