Too cute to scare
costumed preschoolers trick-or-treat throughout building
Child Development classes took their 4-year-old preschoolers trick-or-treating around the school to celebrate Halloween yesterday.
Preschoolers and their high school buddies visited classrooms, student gathering places, and offices during third period. At each location, high school students led the preschoolers in a Halloween-themed song for students and faculty.
“It’s really fun because you see a lot of personality in the kids. [Holidays] can sometimes really exaggerate their personality and help us learn more about them,” Dan Goodman, senior child development student, said.
After the performance, preschoolers and their high school buddies received candy from their audience.
“The hardest thing is getting the kids to not eat the candy at school because they can only eat it at home,” Kelly Ledinsky, senior child development student, said. “My favorite part, though, is watching them smile and be so happy in their costumes.”
