Band decks the PAC with boughs of holly
The bands took on the PAC last night for their first holiday concert of the year.
“[The concert] went really well,” Randi Hirchel, senior clarinet in Symphonic band, said. “It was as fun as a band concert can be. And Wind Ensemble, as always, performed marvelously.”
Although the new season began successfully, the bands had to say goodbye to a new face.
“I am sad about [Rose Tyler, student teacher] leaving, like she is so bubbly and exciting,” Hirchel said. “Also a different face compared to Thompson and Conover, but she provided her own teaching style that I am really going to miss.”
To thank Mrs. Tyler, the band collected money to buy her an elephant vase for a good bye gift.
