Art class field trip to Milwaukee Museum of Art for inspiration
The Honors Studio Art class is going on a field trip this week to the Milwaukee Museum of Art to get inspiration for upcoming projects.
“[I think my class will benefit from this trip because] a lot of us get stuck on what to make for our projects, so going on this trip will definitely help with inspiration and getting to see what other artists around the state are doing,” Kalynn Rhew, junior art student, said.
Lauren Tassi, junior art student, also said she thinks the class will benefit from seeing the different types of art so people can be more creative on their projects.
“We’re trying different art medias, and going to the museums helps us get a better picture of the medias we experiment with in class,” Tassi said.
Tassi and Rhew are both excited to get inspiration and see what other artist are doing in the art-world today so they do not get stuck on new angles for their projects. They said this trip will help them find new and creative ways to do art.
