Class Board Movie Night
The movie Elf, is being projected on the screen in the field house on Sunday, December 13, to raise money for Charity Bash.
“As long as I have been a member of class boards, we have not done anything like this event. This allows us to hopefully raise money for a great cause,” Nicole Marguerite, Sophomore Class Board president, said.
The class boards have never had a movie night or even hosted an event like this, according to Jordyn Becich, Junior Class Board vice president. Since this is the first time they are hosting an event, Becich said it will hopefully be a success.
“[I am looking forward to] getting to use the new projector in the Fieldhouse and seeing everyone come out to watch a movie as a community,” Becich said. “Also, there’s an ugly sweater contest, so that should be fun.”
The ugly sweater contest is going to be taking place to get people in the holiday spirit while enjoying the movie Elf.
Becich also said this is the first year the freshmen, sophomore, and junior class boards have come together to do something like this for the whole community to enjoy.
“We are trying to get everyone in the clubs involved as usual,” Becich said. “And we are trying to spread the word and advertise for the movie like we do for other activities, so everyone should come support Charity Bash at this event.
