Outdoor movie night: Take two
Come to the second annual outdoor movie night for a night of incredible fun!
Student Council’s second annual movie night will be held from 7pm to 9:30pm in the High School Stadium on Thursday, September 3rd.
Tickets cost $5 and students are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, and other items to make themselves more comfortable.
Concessions will also be available for purchase at the event.
“We’ll [have] candy bars, probably popcorn too this year, and drinks like water, gatorade, and that kind of stuff” said Merrick Howarth, student council president.
This movie night is expected to be even better than last year, as new improvements are being implemented and as student council gains more experience.
“We’re definitely learning from our mistakes,” Howarth said, “we’re still working out the kinks so I think it’ll be cool to kind of get in on the ground level.”
Out of the three choices that the student body voted on, The Incredibles was chosen to be showed at the movie night. Howarth hopes that the heroic movie will inspire students as they go into another year of high school.
“It’s a movie I really enjoyed when I was younger so it would be fun to see again,” Howarth said. “I think it’ll be great to get everyone into the spirit of homecoming.”
