Band to play in Northwestern halftime show
Just because there are not any home football games this week does not mean the marching band can not have any fun. The whole marching band, composed of freshmen through seniors will travel to Northwestern University to play in their halftime show on September 5th.
“We rehearse music with a ton of other high schools and perform during halftime at a football game,” Sangami Pugazenthi, senior band treasurer said.
The band will be playing various tunes from the band Fall Out Boy, including “Centuries,” “Uma Thurman,” and “American Psycho/Beauty”, according to Pugazenthi.
“As my last year participating in Northwestern Band Day, I’m most excited about being able to perform in front of a huge crowd and enjoying a college football game,” Pugazenthi said.
