Culver’s will be hosting its tenth annual Free Thanksgiving Day Feast, where the public can receive complimentary food, drinks, and desserts.
The event will be held on Thanksgiving Day between 11:30am and 3pm at the Lake Zurich Culver’s location off of Rand Road. Anyone can attend, including those who may not be able to afford a Thanksgiving meal or those who are spending the holiday alone, according to Culver’s website.
In addition to offering complimentary meals, Culver’s will be working with LifeSource Blood Services for the program “Give a Pint, Get a Pint.” LifeSource will be stationed in the Culver’s parking lot from 10am to 3pm, and anyone 17 years or older who donates blood will receive a free pint of Culver’s frozen yogurt.
Local churches, including the Lake Zurich Chapel, St. Frances de Sales, Peace Lutheran Church, and St. Peter United Church of Christ, will be assisting in providing free meals. Members of the churches will be packaging food that will be delivered to the restaurant and served to customers.
