The LZ Area Chamber of Commerce held a Business and Community Expo yesterday in the Lake Zurich High School Field House.
Numerous businesses and groups from around Lake Zurich set up booths to speak with visitors about their products of services. LZHS students were among the residents who attended.
Some LZHS students also helped work at the event.
“I’ve helped with concessions, both in the concession stand and by walking around selling food,” Quinn Nelson, senior who was there with National Honor Society, said.
The event featured performances from various dance groups, and a reptile show, where one child had the opportunity to ride a tortoise. Those who came were also invited to participate in a blood drive.
A full list of the vendors who came can be found on the LZACC website at http://www.lzacc.com/chamber_event_expo.php.
