Just in time for LZ’s winter break, Bare Voices and the Chamber Strings groups performed in a concert in the Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, December 20.
In elegant suits and sparkly black dresses, Bare Voices was dressed for the festive holiday spirit during their performance, dancing along to holiday songs and performing even comically during segments of Frosty the Snowman.
“I had never been to a Bare Voices concert before, so I was surprised when they started to dance,” Dana Lehmann, senior, said. “It was really well done and definitely put me in the holiday spirit.”
Bare Voices set the mood for the winter season when they performed their renditions of Feliz Navidad, White Christmas, and Let it Snow, and more. These festive tunes excited the audience for the holidays.
“I thought the concert was very festive and fun,” Rachel Klug, senior, said. “I love how enthusiastic all the kids were during the performance.”
Overall, this free concert turned out to be a success for both the audience and the acapella performers.
“I thought the concert was fantastic; Bare Voices really put together a fun show to celebrate the holidays,” Savannah Haeger, senior alto, said, “and we were really proud of our dancing.”
